2016/2017 Chinese rice yield expect to 0.1465 billion tons

SHIJIAZHUANG,May 25 2016—The latest report of rice
production issued by the USDA shows that China is the biggest producer
,consumer and importer of rice in the global. 2016/2017 the rice yield expect
to 0.1465 billion tons and increased about 0.5% than last year ,that is a new
record for China.Meanwhile,the rice and wheat of the crops still get the government
price supports, so the sown area of rice expect to increase 0.1 million hectare, the total sown area will be 30.3 million hectares.
